Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms are an agreement between you and joyjoybuyers ("we", "us"), a product of everytech.io, covering joyjoybuyers.com and everything on it. By checking an address, filing a report, or creating an account, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy is part of this agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. The service is built for Philippine online sellers, but anyone who meets that age requirement and follows these Terms may use it. If you use it for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms on that business's behalf.

3. What the service is

joyjoybuyers is a community risk register. Sellers report incidents they experienced, such as a cash-on-delivery parcel that came back refused, or a buyer who claimed an item on a live sale and never checked out. We then show whether an address or a platform username has been reported before, how many counted reports exist, and which platforms they came from.

A report is an allegation, not a finding of fact. We do not verify that any incident happened. A verdict is a summary of what other sellers said, nothing more. Addresses are shared by households, buildings, and past tenants, and usernames can be reused or spoofed, so a match is not proof that the person you are dealing with did anything. Use your own judgment, and treat the register as one signal among several. Nothing here is legal advice, credit advice, or a background check under any law, and we do not guarantee that any information is accurate, current, or complete. You use the service at your own risk.

4. Your responsibilities

• Report only what you experienced. File a report only for an incident that actually happened to you or to the shop you operate, and only once for the same transaction.
• Be truthful. Do not file false, exaggerated, or retaliatory reports. Do not file on behalf of someone else's grudge.
• No phone numbers. Never submit a buyer's phone number. Our systems strip numbers before storage, and attempting to work around that is a breach of these Terms.
• Nothing beyond what the form asks for. Do not add names, ID numbers, workplaces, social media profiles, photos of people, or any other detail the form does not request. No doxxing.
• No harassment. Do not use the register to threaten, shame, extort, or organise action against anyone. It exists so sellers can decide whether to ship, not to punish buyers.
• Upload only proofs you may share. Screenshots, waybills, and chat captures must be yours to upload, and you must redact anything the form does not need.
• No scraping or automation. Do not crawl, scrape, bulk-download, resell, or mirror the register, and do not build a database from it. Do not evade the rate limits, the anti-bot challenge, or any other protection. Automated or high-volume access is not permitted without our written consent.
• Keep the service intact. No probing, no attacks on availability, no attempts to reach data that is not yours, and no use of the service for anything unlawful.

5. Anonymous reports and claiming

You can report without an account. Anonymous reports are pinned to a cookie token in your browser, and they go live on submit like any other report. If you later sign up or sign in from the same browser, the reports on that token are attached to your account automatically, which is how a report becomes yours to manage. Attaching a report never changes its status. If you clear your cookies before signing up, the link is lost and those reports can no longer be claimed by anyone, including you. The reports stay in the register.

The alias shown on an anonymous report is a display label, not a credential, and it proves nothing about who filed the report.

6. Your content and the licence you grant

You keep whatever rights you have in the reports and proofs you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, aggregate, and display that content for the purpose of operating the register, including showing verdicts, counts, reason tags, and report details to other users as described in our Privacy Policy. This licence lasts as long as the content is in the register and ends when the content is deleted, except for backups and aggregated statistics that no longer identify the report. You confirm you have the right to submit everything you submit.

7. Moderation, removal, and deletion

We may review, dismiss, edit, or remove any report at our discretion, with or without notice, including reports we believe are false, duplicated, abusive, or unsupportable. A dismissed report stops counting toward any verdict.

You can delete a report you filed, from your dashboard, once it is attached to your account. Deletion is permanent: the report, its reasons, and its proof files go, and the count drops with it. There is no undo.

Anyone named in a report may write to support@joyjoybuyers.com to request a review. We will look at it and remove or dismiss what we cannot stand behind.

8. Availability

The service is provided as it is and as available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we do not promise uninterrupted access, preservation of any data, or that defects will be fixed.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty about the accuracy or reliability of reports. Decisions you make after checking the register, including refusing an order, cancelling a shipment, or continuing with one, are yours alone.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost sales, lost goodwill, or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one thousand Philippine pesos, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law.

Screenshots and copies that circulate elsewhere. Pages of this service can be photographed, screenshotted, or copied by anyone who can see them, and posted to social networks, group chats, or anywhere else. We do not control those copies. We cannot correct them, cannot recall them, and are not liable for how any such image is captioned, cropped, edited, or used, or for what anyone concludes from it. A copy also stops being accurate the moment the underlying record changes: a report can be dismissed or deleted here while an old image keeps saying otherwise. Only the live page is the record. If you share an image of this service, you are responsible for that image and for the claims it carries.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from content you submitted, from your use of the service, or from your breach of these Terms or of any law. This matters most for reports: if a report you filed leads to a claim, it is your report.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate access, and remove content, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use harms other users or the register. Sections on content licence, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law survive termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
